“The bronze puddle that makes up this bracelet immediately made me think of a Phoenix. A fabulous bird from Ethiopia, it is linked to the sun cult. It is endowed with great longevity and is also characterised by its power to be reborn. Sensing the end of its life cycle, the Phoenix builds a nest of spices, cinnamon and incense in which it burns itself to reproduce itself. From these ashes, a chick is born, a symbol of resurrection. I like the idea that this bracelet brings the necessary strength to get back up, reinvent oneself, reveal oneself after each trial in life.”
