The Île-de-France Chamber of Trades and Crafts is proud to present the exhibition ‘The Art of Making 2025: Craftsmanship and Design from Paris and Berlin’, which will be held at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Berlin from 3 April to 1 June 2025.

This exceptional event highlights the creative dialogue between artisans in Berlin and Paris. Alternating each year between the two capitals, this exhibition showcases the diversity and excellence of craftsmanship, presenting a selection of works that illustrate the richness of forms, materials and techniques in contemporary craftsmanship.

The 2025 edition brings together 39 Parisian and 28 Berlin artisans, who will exhibit unique creations that demonstrate their mastery and contemporary vision of craftsmanship. From the design of exceptional jewellery to the creation of innovative furniture and bold ceramics, this exhibition is an invitation to discover a constantly evolving craft, between tradition and modernity.
